David Bowie feat. NATURE

NATURE is the first creator. The most creative, intelligent, and humble.

The notion that music originated with Homo sapiens is a narrow-minded assumption. It fails to consider the possibility that it existed before our species. This reflects a human-centric bias.

String theory harmonizes our universe. The entire universe emits gravitational waves, the planets sing in many frequencies during their continuous orbits, and so do the plant and animal beings of Earth.

John Cage proposed a new way to understand music by organizing sound and silence. Pauline Oliveros focused on active listening (deep listening) to be aware of the spaces around us. Olivier Messiaen heard birdsongs in Auschwitz, which he imitated in his symphonies.

NATURE created music, not humans.

It was never credited as it should have been. Until now:

4.6 billion years ago, a star was born.

Today, on April 18, 2024, it is finally recognized.

"Sounds Right" blends musicians and NATURE to celebrate and raise funds for environmental conservation. The project features David Bowie with Brian Eno, Ellie Goulding, Aurora, Anuv Jain, MØ, Bomba Estereo, London Grammar, UMI with V of BTS, Tom Walker, Aterciopelados, Los Amigos Invisibles, and others.
